Incredible early 1940's lucite bow brooch with beautiful movement and form. The "C" clasp pin back helps date this piece. The rudimentary bend of metal shaped like a "C" was commonly used from 1890's through the late 1930's, but was not in widespread use on brooches after the early 1940's. There is some oxidation on the pin back, and it is a little stiff, consistent with the age of this piece.
